PBJ CRM 7.49 — a real date & time picker, and inbox counts that keep up
PBJ CRM 7.49, Helpdesk 7.26 and RingCentral 7.17: a date and time picker of the suite’s own with a real time selector, live inbox counts in the rail for every inbox, Sorted on tickets, and Empty spam / Empty bin for texts and calls. No database change.
PBJ CRM 7.49, PBJ Helpdesk 7.26 and PBJ RingCentral 7.17 are out — free updates for everyone who owns the 7.x versions. If you are updating PBJ CRM from 7.47, this one step brings you 7.48 and 7.49. There is no database change in any of the three plugins, and your data is untouched. Update PBJ CRM first, then Helpdesk and RingCentral.
A real date and time picker, with a time selector
Every date, time and date-and-time field in the CRM and its modules is now drawn by PBJ CRM itself. The field shows its value in plain words — “Tue, Sep 29, 2026 · 3:15 PM” — and opens one panel that follows your theme: a calendar for a date, hour · minute · AM/PM columns for a time, and both side by side, with Done, for a date and time. On a phone that means date-and-time fields finally have a time you can pick, and the phone’s own date sheet or time wheel no longer appears anywhere in the suite. Nothing you have saved changes, and Helpdesk, Invoicing and Dispatch pick it up with no update of their own.
Inbox counts that keep up with you
- The counts in the left rail update as you work, in every inbox — email, texts, calls and the unified Inbox. File, sort, bin, mark as spam or empty something and the number changes straight away; while you are on a Work screen they also refresh every 30 seconds, so new mail and texts are counted without a click.
- The bottom bar no longer says “1 selected” for something that has already left the list.
Sorted works on tickets
In the unified Inbox, Sorted now works on tickets as well as emails, texts and calls. On a ticket it means “dealt with for now”: the ticket leaves your inbox without being closed, and comes back the moment the customer writes again. (PBJ Helpdesk 7.25 or newer, with PBJ CRM 7.49.)
RingCentral: Manage is gone, and Spam and Bin can be emptied
- The Manage button has been removed from Text messages and Calls & voicemail — the list and reading pane is the one view.
- Spam and Bin on both lists now have an Empty button, like the Help desk mail piles. It removes this site’s copies only: RingCentral keeps its own, blocked numbers stay blocked, and anything a ticket still holds is kept.
