What it does

Text messages in the CRM. A full Text messages section with an account and folder rail, threads, and a compose that finds the right customer as you type. File, spam or bin a thread and it leaves your attention list.
Calls and voicemail. Call history from your authoritative RingCentral call log, voicemail with RingCentral’s own transcription, and a Call button wherever a number appears.
It counts as work. Texts and calls sitting in your inbox folder show up in the CRM’s notification badge, in the unified Inbox, and in global search and mobile Find alongside tickets and tasks.
Your own line, or the shop’s. One owner-managed shared connection with selected lines, or a personal connection per person. Reconnecting never mixes two histories.
Reliable sync. Webhooks are treated as hints; a scheduled reconciliation is the authority. Every stream fails independently, and a Background sync health panel tells you when something needs a nudge.

Before you buy

PBJ RingCentral is a module: it requires PBJ CRM 7.0.0 or newer, installed and active. You also need your own RingCentral account and a private app created in the RingCentral Developer Console — the plugin’s setup screen lists the exact scopes to tick and generates the callback address to paste back in. WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 7.4+.
