PBJ CRM 8.17 suite update — closed item chains, open counts, vendors in the picker, miles on close, and mail folders that sync

Today’s update to the PBJ CRM suite is out for every licensed site: PBJ CRM 8.17, PBJ Events (Dispatch & Appointments) 7.24, PBJ Helpdesk 7.38.7 and PBJ RingCentral 7.28. Updates arrive through the usual plugin update screen; nothing needs reconfiguring.

Insight › Closed item chains

• New report. Each closed item with the Convert+ steps that led to it, as a list beside a detail panel — period switch, search, kind, owner and order filters, week groups, keyboard moves, and a chain timeline for the selected item.
• Open the full summary of every conversation, item and person on the chain.

Everyday CRM

• Open counts beside Tickets and Tasks in the rail’s BROWSE group.
• Vendors in the person-or-business picker (not on invoice screens); creating from the search offers a new contact, business or vendor.
• Match sender is an icon — a gear when the sender is linked, a plus when not — beside the sender in every inbox reader.
• Connected accounts lists Google Drive and OneDrive with a Set up button.

Events & miles

• Miles asked once. Closing a To-them event asks for round-trip miles when the client record has none; they are saved on the client so later events close without asking.
• Add or edit miles on Insight › Events & miles, saved to the event or to the client.

Mail

• Chosen server folders sync. Folders such as Sent are checked even when the inbox check fails, show their last check and any error, and keep their mail in that folder — never in Spam or the Bin. Mail the mailbox sent is marked as sent.
• Unblock works. Unblock on the blocked senders list now really removes the address.
