PBJ CRM 8.23 suite update — inbox ticket buttons, cleaner converted texts and a sharper reading pane

Today’s update to the PBJ CRM suite is out for every licensed site: PBJ CRM 8.23, PBJ Helpdesk 7.41.1 and PBJ RingCentral 7.30. Updates arrive through the usual plugin update screen; nothing needs reconfiguring and there is no database change.

Inbox tickets

  • A ticket open in the Inbox now has Item+, Convert+, Open ticket, Close and Sorted at the bottom.
  • Tick tickets in the Inbox for Item+, Convert+ and Merge (two or more).

Texts, calls and email into tickets

  • A ticket made from a text, call or email now carries just the messages — no extra block of the whole conversation above them.
  • Changing who owns a phone number replaces the person on it instead of adding a second one.

Replies and reading

  • The reply box always shows who you are emailing, including on tickets for a business with no named requester.
  • Ticket and record threads open newest first; the Oldest / Newest switch still flips them.
  • Long links and codes wrap inside their card, and the reading pane’s header no longer overlaps the record number.

Contact sync

  • Google contact sync reads the whole chosen label again when the label changes (and once after this update), so people who were already in it are offered for import.
  • A contact with no email is matched by phone when exactly one person has that number, so someone you added by hand is not offered twice.

Full details are in each plugin’s changelog: PBJ CRM, PBJ Helpdesk and PBJ RingCentral.
