PBJ De-Theme 2.0.0: leave your page builder and keep your look
De-Theme 2.0 adds Restyle: it recreates your YOOtheme Pro design on WordPress’s own Twenty Twenty-Five theme, editable in Appearance › Editor › Styles, with one-click undo.
PBJ De-Theme 2.0.0 is out. Until now, De-Theme freed your content from a page builder and left the design behind. 2.0 brings the design along.
Restyle
Restyle reads your YOOtheme Pro design — colours, fonts, font sizes, spacing, buttons, link colours, section colours and padding, the header with its logo, split menu and sticky bar, and the footer — and recreates it on WordPress’s own Twenty Twenty-Five theme. It is stored the way WordPress stores design: global styles, header and footer template parts, a Navigation menu and Font Library fonts. No theme files are written. Shaped hero videos and images, card styles, decorated headings, striped lists and the phone-width header come across too.
Preview shows every value first and changes nothing. One click switches the site over.
Yours to adjust
Everything Restyle sets is ordinary WordPress styling, so you can fine-tune it in Appearance › Editor › Styles. Refresh restyle resets it to the plugin’s version of your design — that replaces any changes you made in Styles — and Re-convert rebuilds every converted page with the latest converter from the originals De-Theme keeps.
Undo, exactly
One click switches back to your previous theme and restores its settings byte-for-byte, your logo and every page’s template, and removes everything Restyle added. Each converted page still rolls back on its own, as before.
What doesn’t carry
A few details have no WordPress equivalent, and every run names them: the menu’s hover underline, social-icon hover effects, a phone social icon (it becomes a link icon), a transparent header over the first section, section background video and animations. Tabs and sliders are still flattened into plain sections.
Upgrading
Restyle needs WordPress 6.7 or newer and the Twenty Twenty-Five theme installed. Your existing conversions and rollbacks are untouched. As always, De-Theme requires a fresh complete backup before it changes anything. Full details are in the changelog.
