PBJ Events 7.27 — remote events, and miles asked only when needed
PBJ Events 7.27 is out for every licensed site. It arrives through the usual plugin update screen; a small database update runs on its own.
Remote events
- A third kind of event beside To them and To us: Remote, for a call or a remote session.
- Instead of an address, the person booking it adds a link, notes for the customer and internal notes — at least one of the three.
- The customer gets the link and their notes in the confirmation, reminders and calendar invite. Internal notes stay with your team. There is no map and no miles.
Miles only when needed
- Closing an event you drove to no longer asks for miles when the customer’s record has them, or when miles were typed on an earlier visit to the same customer — that number is used and saved to their record.
Full details are in the PBJ Events changelog.
