PBJ Helpdesk 7.31, Invoicing 7.36 and Vault 7.04 — deposits in estimate emails, Vault fixes and network-alert tickets

Estimate emails now show the deposit due and say what their button does; the Vault unlocks from the create screen and loads on business profiles; network alerts from PBJ Omada become Help Desk tickets. PBJ Helpdesk 7.31, PBJ Invoicing 7.36 and PBJ Vault 7.04.

PBJ Helpdesk 7.31, PBJ Invoicing 7.36 and PBJ Vault 7.04 are out — free updates for everyone who owns the 7.x versions. None of them changes the database, and none needs a newer PBJ CRM than the one you already run for these modules. Take a backup before you update, as always.

PBJ Invoicing 7.36: the estimate email names its deposit

  • An estimate that takes a deposit now shows Deposit due now and the same deposit sentence as the customer’s estimate page, in both the plain and the designed email.
  • The email’s button says what it opens: View and accept estimate with a deposit, Accept estimate without, and View invoice on invoices. It used to say View invoice on every estimate.

PBJ Vault 7.04 (and 7.03): unlock where you are

  • With the Vault locked, New archive entry now carries a Vault passphrase box; Save unlocks the Vault and then stores the secret. A secret with no passphrase is refused and nothing is saved.
  • The Vault tab loads on business profiles again.
  • A Vault popup left open in a background tab no longer checks in with the server every 15 seconds while nobody is looking at it — and if the Vault locks meanwhile, the popup still closes the moment you come back.
  • Nothing about encryption, revealing, grants or sessions changes.

PBJ Helpdesk 7.31 (and 7.30): network alerts, and ready for password-free sign-in

  • A ticket PBJ Omada opens for a network device that went down is recorded as a Network alert instead of Logged by your team.
  • Help Desk is ready for PBJ CRM’s one sign-in — a passkey or an emailed link, no password: every Sign in link goes to the CRM’s sign-in page, and opening an invitation activates the account without choosing a password, then offers a passkey. This takes effect once you run PBJ CRM 7.63 or later; with your current PBJ CRM, sign-in and invitations work exactly as before.
