PBJ RingCentral 1.2: reliable sync, visible health, and a cleaner inbox

PBJ RingCentral 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 are out, and together they fix the failure that mattered most: an inbox that quietly stayed empty.

The background sync can no longer be silenced. Production RingCentral rejected the webhook subscription on some installs, and in 1.1.0 that single failure stopped the entire five-minute sync — no inbound texts, no calls, no voicemail, and nothing on screen to say so. Now a subscription failure is recorded and the sync always runs; every stream (messages, voicemail, calls, transcripts) fails independently; the subscription retries with a shorter verification token; and 1.2.1 fixes the timestamp format RingCentral rejected on the history streams themselves.

When something does go wrong, you can see it. Apps & Assistants has a new Background sync health panel — every stream’s state, last success and exact error, webhook status and queue depth — and the Text messages and Calls & voicemail workspaces warn you in plain language and offer a Sync now button.

And the inbox got a proper interface. Lists show the linked customer’s name, a formatted number, the latest message, unread badges, call direction and duration, and short timestamps. Conversations open with the customer’s name and a one-click link to their profile. Empty folders say so, Load more appears only when there is more, and everything fits a phone screen.

Full details on the PBJ RingCentral changelog. Updates are served automatically to licensed installs; PBJ RingCentral requires PBJ CRM 1.48.1 or newer.
