PBJ SEO & Security 4.1.0: The Master SEO Checklist
PBJ SEO & Security 4.1.0 is out. The Checklist tab is no longer just an audit — it is now a complete, guided master SEO checklist: everything a site needs for SEO in five sections, with the plugin verifying what it can see, fixing what it controls, and walking you through the rest.
The whole job, in one place
SEO Basics, Keyword Research, Technical SEO, On-Site & Content, and Off-Site SEO — around forty items with live progress counts per section. It is the same checklist an SEO consultant would run through, built into the dashboard.
Green checks you don’t have to earn twice
Where the plugin can see the answer, the item checks itself: HTTPS, one canonical version of the site, the XML sitemap, robots.txt, schema markup, canonical tags, permalink structure, analytics, Search Console and Bing verification, title and meta-description health, and a clean 404 log. Fix something and the row goes green on the next load — no hand-ticking.
One-click fixes
When a plugin setting is the fix — Force HTTPS, 404 logging, custom redirects, the performance and cache options — the row carries an Enable now button that flips it right there. Everything else gets a Fix button that jumps to the exact tab or WordPress screen.
Instructions for the work no plugin can do
Keyword research, sitemap submission, backlink work, Google Business Profile — the jobs that happen outside WordPress each come with numbered step-by-step instructions, a button to the right tool, and a Mark done checkbox that remembers your progress (undo any time).

4.1.0 is a free update for every 4.x license: WordPress will offer it automatically, or use “Add New Plugin → Upload” with the zip from your purchase email. No settings change on upgrade; your existing configuration carries straight over, and the new checklist appears the next time you open SEO & Security.
