PBJ Suite — 13 August 2026: an assistant that can finish the job
A new PBJ Suite release is out: PBJ CRM 1.32.0, PBJ Helpdesk 2.24.0, PBJ Invoicing 1.21.0, PBJ Dispatch 1.11.0 and PBJ Vault 1.8.0. It is all one story. The assistant connector — the part that lets an AI assistant work inside your business — went from 38 jobs across 11 kinds of record to 74 jobs across 25 kinds of record.
It reaches nearly everything now
Until today the connector could only see eleven kinds of record. Now it sees twenty-five. Your businesses, your tags, your saved lists and the history behind a record are all reachable. So are your locations, the notes written up after a visit, your repeating invoices, the list of who still owes you money, and which sub-databases the Vault is holding.
It can answer a ticket, not just raise one
This is the big one. Up to now an assistant could open a ticket for you and that was as far as it went — somebody still had to sit down and write the reply. Now it can write the reply on the ticket itself, the same way one of your own people would.
It can put lines on an invoice
Before this, an assistant could start an invoice and hand you an empty one. Now it can put the lines on it — the work, the parts, the hours — so what comes back is an invoice you can actually send.
It can write down a payment you have taken
If somebody hands you cash or a cheque, the assistant can record that the money came in. Hand-entered methods only. It never touches a card gateway, and it cannot give money back — refunds stay in your hands.
Safety, in plain words
An assistant signs in as the person whose link it is, and it sees exactly what that person sees — not a scrap more. If that person cannot see a job, neither can their assistant.
A protected field in the Vault is its own case. The assistant is told the field is there and what it is called, but the value never leaves the vault. It cannot read it and it cannot pass it on.
Numbers are treated strictly. A quantity typed with a comma in it — “1,5” — is refused outright rather than being read as fifteen. Better to ask again than to bill somebody ten times over.
Upgrading
There is nothing for you to do. If your licence is current, all five updates arrive through the normal WordPress updates screen like any other plugin. None of the five changes anything in your database, so there is nothing to migrate and nothing to put right afterwards.
