Call it what your trade calls it: CRM 1.23.0, Helpdesk 2.16.0 and Dispatch 1.4.0

A second, smaller release today — three plugins, one theme: the words on the screen and the people on the job are now both yours to choose.

Rename your visits

PBJ Dispatch 1.4.0 lets you rename Visit and Appointment site-wide — “Call-out”, “Fitting”, “Delivery”, whatever your trade actually says. The new words appear across the portal, the calendar’s buttons, the email template headings and the calendar invitations. Your job numbers do not change, and paperwork already written keeps the words it was written with.

Hand the job over as you book it

Booking a visit from a help desk ticket now asks “Who is doing this one?” Managers and owners pick from the people they may actually hand work to; employees see who has it and no picker. PBJ Helpdesk 2.16.0 carries the form, and its sentences follow whatever you renamed the visit to.

One list of who you can hand work to

PBJ CRM 1.23.0 now owns the one answer to “who can I assign this to”: your teams, plus staff not yet in any team, never anybody above your own rank. The help desk directory and the dispatch booking picker both read it, and the same list is enforced on the server — the dropdown and the gate can never disagree. This also fixes a quiet family of blank pickers where a manager not yet in any team saw nobody but themselves.

No database changes in any of the three. Update PBJ CRM first, then Helpdesk and Dispatch in either order — each one falls back cleanly on older siblings. Full details: the CRM changelog, the Helpdesk changelog and the Dispatch changelog.
