PBJ CRM 8.19 suite update — an Orders tab, step-by-step shop setup, and order tickets in Help Desk

Today’s update to the PBJ CRM suite is out for every licensed site: PBJ CRM 8.19, PBJ Helpdesk 7.38.8 and PBJ Studio Sync 3.7.6. Updates arrive through the usual plugin update screen; nothing needs reconfiguring.

An Orders tab in the CRM

  • Orders sits right of Money. When the new PBJ Orders module is installed, the portal gains an Orders top tab with four rows — Orders, Forms, Inventory and Shop settings — drawn like the Money and Portfolio rows.
  • Step-by-step settings. Module settings can show a step list with done and current marks; Shop settings uses it for its five steps, and Manager › Start here uses the same list.
  • Card on your own page. Connected accounts › Square gains optional Application ID and “Which Square” (Production or Sandbox) fields, and Stripe an optional Publishable key. Invoice payments are unchanged.
  • Bigger tap targets. On a phone, a link in a settings summary row is now a full 44px target.

PBJ Orders 1.1.0

  • Inventory with stock history, low-stock levels, and Buy now / Add to cart / both per item.
  • Payments through Connected accounts, orders posted to PBJ Ledger, one Help Desk ticket per order or form submission, and My orders in the client portal.
  • Two Insights reports: Order sales and Inventory levels.
  • A one-time import of PBJ Forms+ forms, products and orders.

Help Desk and Studio Sync

  • Help Desk 7.38.8: tickets opened by PBJ Orders show their source as “Order” and read “opened from an order”.
  • Studio Sync 3.7.6: PBJ Orders orders and form submissions stay out of content pushes, and PBJ Orders settings join the settings-merge plan.

Full details are in each plugin’s changelog: PBJ CRM, PBJ Orders, PBJ Helpdesk and PBJ Studio Sync.
