PBJ CRM Suite 1.46.0: Reports, Permissions and Vault Record Management

Released 16 August 2026: PBJ CRM 1.46.0, PBJ Vault 1.13.0, PBJ Helpdesk 2.35.0 and PBJ Invoicing 1.26.0. This suite update makes administration feel like one system: permissions live together, reports have one searchable home, and Vault record management is built around finding and assigning records instead of scrolling IDs. One Reports screen PBJ CRM now has a unified Reports tab. Installed modules add their own reports there: Helpdesk supplies ticket reporting and Invoicing supplies Money owed. If a module is not installed, its report simply is not shown, leaving room for future PBJ...

PBJ CRM Suite 1.45.0: Theme Foundation and Everything

The PBJ CRM suite’s August 16 release makes theming a foundation instead of a layer painted over WordPress, and it closes the gaps in profile activity, responsive navigation, invoice terms, dispatch finishing and Vault management. PBJ CRM 1.45.0 The optional suite theme now owns the whole WordPress admin, including core pages and other plugins’ conventional panels, tables, notices, forms, selections and menu states. Named palettes are complete light-and-dark takeovers. Choosing one warns before clearing individual colour adjustments. The palettes are more distinct; Florida remains...

PBJ Suite — 15 August 2026: seventeen fixes to how it looks, and one to how it looks on a phone

PBJ CRM 1.43.1, with PBJ Helpdesk 2.32.0, PBJ Invoicing 1.24.0, PBJ Dispatch & Appointments 1.15.0 and PBJ Vault 1.10.0. Update from Plugins in your own dashboard as usual — CRM first, then the rest. Anything that sits above the page now follows your theme The “What your customer sees” preview was drawing near-black writing on a near-black card — unreadable, and it was never really about that one box. Dialogs, overlays and pop-up panels were each choosing their own colours instead of reading yours. They all read yours now, on all sixteen looks, light and dark, and there...

PBJ Suite — 13 August 2026: an assistant that can finish the job

A new PBJ Suite release is out: PBJ CRM 1.32.0, PBJ Helpdesk 2.24.0, PBJ Invoicing 1.21.0, PBJ Dispatch 1.11.0 and PBJ Vault 1.8.0. It is all one story. The assistant connector — the part that lets an AI assistant work inside your business — went from 38 jobs across 11 kinds of record to 74 jobs across 25 kinds of record. It reaches nearly everything now Until today the connector could only see eleven kinds of record. Now it sees twenty-five. Your businesses, your tags, your saved lists and the history behind a record are all reachable. So are your locations, the notes written...

PBJ Suite — 12 August 2026: the catch-up release

Four updates went out together today: PBJ CRM 1.28.0, PBJ Helpdesk 2.19.0, PBJ Invoicing 1.18.0 and PBJ Dispatch & Appointments 1.6.0. This is the catch-up release — not one big idea but a run of things the suite has been owed, each small enough to have waited and useful enough that it should not have. The biggest change is where you land. The Calendar group is now the Dashboard, and it is the first thing you see: Triage first for administrators, the Today queue first for everyone else, with the Calendar right beside them. Nothing moved out of reach — Tasks and Tickets keep...

PBJ CRM 1.27.0 — one place to say how your email leaves

PBJ CRM 1.27.0 is out. It adds one thing, and it is the sort of thing you only notice by its absence: one place to say how email leaves your website, covering the CRM and every add-on at once. Why this needed doing Before writing a line of it we went through every place the suite sends an email. The answer was not tidy. Appointment and visit emails — including the calendar invitations — went out through WordPress’s built-in mailer, while claiming a from-address they had never actually signed in to. Most help desk notices (assignments, overdue warnings, escalations, portal...

PBJ Suite release: search everywhere, and a simplified phone interface

Five updates went out together today: PBJ CRM 1.26.0 (with 1.25.0 landing the same day), PBJ Helpdesk 2.18.0, PBJ Invoicing 1.17.0, PBJ Dispatch & Appointments 1.5.0 and PBJ Archive 1.4.0. Two ideas run through the lot: the suite’s search now reaches everything it should, and the CRM finally knows how to be small on a phone. The search first. CRM 1.25.0 puts pill filters under the header search, one for every kind of record — people, businesses, tasks, deals, files, and every module’s records — so you can narrow a search to just the kind of thing you are after....

Call it what your trade calls it: CRM 1.23.0, Helpdesk 2.16.0 and Dispatch 1.4.0

A second, smaller release today — three plugins, one theme: the words on the screen and the people on the job are now both yours to choose. Rename your visits PBJ Dispatch 1.4.0 lets you rename Visit and Appointment site-wide — “Call-out”, “Fitting”, “Delivery”, whatever your trade actually says. The new words appear across the portal, the calendar’s buttons, the email template headings and the calendar invitations. Your job numbers do not change, and paperwork already written keeps the words it was written with. Hand the job over as you book it...

PBJ Suite — Phase 13: invoices that start from a ticket, and a public front door

PBJ Invoicing 1.16.0 and PBJ Helpdesk 2.15.0 are available now. They ship together because most of what is new is one plugin reaching into the other: this is the release where a ticket and an invoice finally know about each other. Raise an invoice from a ticket — including a closed one Every ticket now carries a Create an invoice button, and it works on a ticket you have already closed. That last part is the point. Deciding to bill a job after you closed the ticket is the ordinary way round, not an edge case — and until now nothing on a ticket led to an invoice at all, so the job...
